Display Home in Coffs Harbour takes out Housing Award
Perry Homes’ new Coffs Harbour display home certainly impressed the judges at the 2012 HIA Shriro Commercial Northern NSW Housing Awards – it took home two awards.
The Palazzo 278 took out the title of Northern NSW Display Home of the Year and the Display Home $250,000 to $300,000 category.
Judges were impressed with the contemporary features packed in the home which are perfect for the modern family who love to entertain. The main features to catch the judges’ eyes were a dedicated kids’ zone with activity centre, a sophisticated main bedroom and media room.
The kids zone features three large bedrooms with separate bathroom all of which feed off the activity centre designed specifically for the children to use as a play or study area. The sophisticated main bedroom suite features a spacious walk-in wardrobe together with an impressively luxurious ensuite with shower and separate bath tub. The media room provides a quiet space for the whole family to enjoy and the study nook ensures there is space for the computer and filing cabinet.
The home also features expansive indoor and outdoor living areas, plus a kitchen with butler’s pantry which extends to the outdoor summer lounge and sarla.
Perry Homes Marketing Manager Kaye Durre said the home design and its ideal location in Rose Avenue had been a huge success.
“We have had a number of displays in other locations of Coffs Harbour, but since opening the display in Rose Avenue in August 2011 we have been delighted with the large number of people who have inspected this home,” Ms Durre said.
“While we are absolutely delighted to win both of these awards, it is the significant number of clients who have built three or four homes with us and together with the large number of referrals we receive, that is the most satisfying.”
